What is the minimum order quantity (MOQ)?
Sea reefer: typical minimum is 1 x 40ft reefer container (24–26 tonnes) per SKU. Half-container (10–12 tonnes) shipments are available on mixed-SKU consolidation. Air freight: orders from 100 kg. Contact the sourcing team for product-specific MOQs.
What incoterms do you support?
FOB Alexandria / Port Said / Damietta, CIF buyer's nominated port, EXW farm or packhouse, DAP destination, and CFR where required. Most European buyers use CIF; GCC buyers often use FOB; EXW suits buyers with owned inland logistics.
What payment terms do you accept?
Standard: 30% deposit on order confirmation, 70% against shipping documents. Accepted instruments: Letter of Credit (L/C), Telegraphic Transfer (T/T), CAD. Extended terms available for buyers with a 3+ shipment track record.
Which certifications do your farms and products carry?
All farms are GlobalG.A.P. certified with GRASP social-compliance module. Packhouses are BRCGS Food Safety audited. Additional certifications: ISO 22000, EurepGAP, halal (processed lines), organic (selected lines). Full certificate copies travel with every shipment.

How long does shipping take?
Sea reefer: GCC 3–5 days, Mediterranean 4–6 days, North Europe 6–10 days, UK 8–11 days, Central Asia via Caspian 14–20 days, East Asia 14–18 days. Air freight Cairo to any destination: 24–48 hours door-to-door.

Do you handle phytosanitary and customs documentation?
Yes. Every shipment travels with Phytosanitary Certificate (Egyptian MALR), Certificate of Origin, Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading or Airway Bill, Health Certificate (processed lines), and relevant GlobalG.A.P./BRC/halal/organic certificates. Prepared to destination-country import specifications.
Do you offer samples?
Yes. Samples ship by air freight on a cost-recovery basis (sample cost + freight). Lead time 5–10 working days depending on product and destination. Sample quantities are negotiated per product — typically one full carton.
How do you handle quality disputes?
Notify AFRICAFRESH EXPORT within 48 hours of delivery with photographic evidence. The team investigates; where the dispute is justified, a partial or full credit is issued against the next order. Post-voyage reefer temperature logs are shared with every shipment to support investigations.
Can you do private label or custom packaging?
Yes. Full private-label services: custom carton printing, stickers, bags, multi-language labels, EAN/GTIN barcoding, retail-specific traceability. Minimum quantity typically 1 x 40ft container per SKU. Lead time 3–4 weeks.
Can I visit your farms or packhouses?
Yes. Farm and packhouse visits in Egypt are encouraged — arrange with 2 weeks' notice. Complimentary for buyers placing orders above an agreed volume. AFRICAFRESH EXPORT coordinates visa letters of invitation where required.
Do you offer consolidation for smaller orders?
Yes. Mixed-SKU consolidation for buyers below full-container volumes is arranged on the same reefer route, sharing container capacity with other AFRICAFRESH EXPORT buyers. Standard routes: Alexandria → Rotterdam, Alexandria → Jebel Ali, Alexandria → Poti for Central Asia.
